PSG in pole position to sign Gianluca Scamacca
Le Parisien says that Paris Saint-Germain will sign Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo next week.
After a great season with Alessio Dionisi's team, where he scored 16 goals in 36 games, the 23-year-old Italian forward seems ready to move up to a top team.
He was linked with moves to
Inter
and
Milan
, but neither of those moves happened, which gave
PSGa chance. Le Parisien says that PSG is about to make a deal with Sassuolo to buy
Gianluca Scamaccafor about €50 million.
Things should be all set by next week, so he can start training with the new coach Christophe Galtier for the upcoming season.
Scamacca, who is 23 years old, moved from
PSV
's youth team to Sassuolo in January 2017 in a deal worth about €500,000. Since he joined the Neroverdi, he has played in 41 games for a total of 2329 minutes and scored 16 goals. As he joins a star-studded attack, he will be hoping for a chance to show what he can do.
