Francisco Trincao wants to leave Barcelona and move to Sporting
Portuguese winger wants to leave Barcelona and move to Sporting this summer.
The 22-year-old player knows he has no place in Xavi’s plans for next season and is looking for a new team.
According to the Portuguese and Spanish press, Sporting Lisbon is the most interested club in
Trincaoand it is expected their directors will travel in the coming days to Barcelona to negotiate this transfer.
Sporting wants to sign Trincao on a loan deal with an option to buy but they still could not reach an agreement with Barcelona.
Trincao joined
Barcelonafrom Barga in 2020 for €31 million. In his first season, he played in 42 games and scored three goals and won the Copa Del Rey.
He spent the 2021-22 football season on loan with the Premier League side Wolves and played in 30 appearances across all competitions while scoring three goals.
Wolves could buy him permanently for €30 million but they decided against it and he now has returned to Barcelona.
Sevilla and Valencia have been linked with Trincao in recent weeks but he prefers a move to Portugal instead.
Trincao has played in 7 appearances for Portugal national team.
