Al-Hilal Goalkeeper Prepares for New Season in Austria

Al-Owais Joins Al-Hilal Camp After Overcoming Schengen Visa Issue

Saudi club Al-Hilal successfully resolved the crisis surrounding their international goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais, who faced difficulty joining the team's pre-season camp in Austria for the upcoming season.

On Monday afternoon, Al-Hilal's delegation departed for Austria to commence their preparation camp. However, Al-Owais' absence was notable due to an issue related to obtaining a Schengen travel visa for European Union countries.

Later on, Monday evening, Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiah" reported that Al-Hilal's management successfully resolved the issue and obtained the required Schengen visa for Al-Owais. This allowed him to travel directly to Austria to join the team.

Al-Hilal

will stay in Austria until August 3rd, participating in 5 friendly matches, including a notable encounter against FK Austria Wien next Friday. The team began its pre-season program in Riyadh, continuing for two weeks, and is scheduled to start its training program in Austria from Tuesday onwards.

This camp marks a crucial step in preparing the team for the upcoming season, providing the coach and players with opportunities to focus on tactics, physical training, and enhancing understanding and cohesion among the players, ensuring a strong start to the new season.

Mohammed Al-Owais, one of the top goalkeepers in the Saudi league, will play a pivotal role in Al-Hilal's pursuit of its goals, especially amidst the significant challenges awaiting the team in the upcoming season, both domestically and continentally.
