Palmeiras' Danilo offered to Barcelona as Busquets' successor

Danilo, a starlet for Palmeiras, has been proposed to Barcelona.

According to

Diario Sport

, the 21-year-old defensive midfielder is prepared to undertake the switch to European football following a great stay in Brazil this summer. And moving to

Barcelona

would be simple.

Real Valladolid has a fantastic atmosphere and expectations of promotion.

When Real Valladolid defeated Ponferradina in May 2022, the supporters produced a fantastic atmosphere. The Spanish team, which is owned by Ronaldo Nazario, is aiming for automatic qualification back to the top flight.

Kia Joorabichian and Giuliano Bertolucci, Danilo's agent, have a good rapport with the Catalans.

Danilo is seen as a potential successor for Sergio Busquets, with the goal of ultimately replacing him in the squad of

LaLiga

giants. It's unclear whether he'll embrace such a limited capacity.

Danilo isn't the only one with a name on the list. Barcelona also likes

Ruben Neves

, a Portuguese playmaker for Wolverhampton Wanderers who is still only 25 years old.

Barcelona also admires Monaco's

Aurelien Tchouameni

and Real Sociedad's

Martin Zubimendi

They would, however, be costly, since Danilo is estimated to be available for between €20 and €25 million.

The Bahian has played a key role for Abel Ferreira's Palmeiras, who have won two Copa Libertadores titles in a row.
