Luciano Spalletti is close to Napoli job
Rumours are circulating that Napoli and Luciano Spalletti have agreed to replace Gennaro Gattuso.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Napoli CEO Aurelio De Laurentiis has selected the former head coach of Inter and Roma as the new head coach at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
Gattuso's departure from Napoli looks set to be final even if he can take Napoli to the Champions League.
The newspaper also claimed that Spalletti was negotiating the details of the job and the appointment of roles and strengthening the squad.
It is also reported that Spalletti has asked for an annual salary of 4 million euros, but the club's opinion is different and they have offered 2.5 million euros plus bonuses.
