Milik’s price tag has been revealed

As Milik’s contract will expire this summer, Napoli is eager to offload the striker this January transfer window instead of losing him for free.

Milik

has scored 48 goals in his 122

Napoli

appearances after he joined the Partenopei from Ajax in 2016. He led

Napoli

to their first major trophy in six years by winning

Coppa Italia

last season.

Although he was heavily linked with a transfer during the summer window, he failed to seal a transfer away from Napoli.

Juventus

,

Roma

, and

Tottenham

all made offers for the Polish striker. The striker has no intention to renew his contract with Napoli, and the club would lose the frontman for nothing if they play hardball with any potential suitors, so according to Goal, they will demand at least €15 million for the striker in January amid interest from

Juventus

and

Atletico Madrid

.

Milik

admitted that he wanted to leave

Napoli

in October in an interview with SportoweFakty:

"Napoli wanted to extend my contract for five years and gave me two choices: to sign or leave.

"I decided that I would like to try something else. I think this is the right time to try a new challenge.

"There has never been hostility on my part towards Napoli. I wanted to solve everything professionally."

The forward also expressed his disappointment for finding out about his omission from

Napoli’s

Serie A and Europa League squads for the new season via media reports instead of club officials.

“I heard it from the press,"

Milik said.

"I expected this decision but the lack of communication from the club is not professional. I believe I haven’t been treated well."
