Between the ages of nine and fourteen, Arthur Masuaku spent five seasons as a schoolboy with RC Lens before joining local rivals Valenciennes.
In a 2-1 U18 friendly victory over Germany in Prien am Chiemsee in March 2011, Masuaku earned his international debut alongside Paul Pogba.
