Isco:"He was the biggest liar I'd ever met in the world of football"
Isco stated the reasons for his departure from Sevilla.
Isco left Real Madrid after nine seasons and joined
Sevilla. During his time at Real Madrid, he won the La Liga title three times and the Champions League five times.
He did not stay at Sevilla for more than a few months, and his contract was terminated in December 2022.
Isco told Marca about the fight he had with Sevilla's sports director.
"I told him he was the biggest liar I'd ever met in the world of football and he assaulted me. He came for me, he grabbed me by the neck and people had to separate us. As you can understand, after this, I didn't want to stay there under any circumstances."
Isco played only 12 games for Sevilla in La Liga.
He remains without a team and is a free agent.
