Iniesta: "I have the desire to retire and close my career while still playing on the pitch"

Andres Iniesta bid farewell to Vissel Kobe.

for one more season, Andres Iniesta leave the team after moving there from Barcelona in 2018.

Iniesta, who has not yet decided on his future, spoke about his departure from Vissel Kobe.

“The last few months have been really tough for me and those close to me”

Iniesta said.

“I have the desire to retire and close my career while still playing on the pitch and I’m taking my next step according to that emotion.”

Iniesta scored 26 goals in 134 matches for Vissel Kobe. He became the champion of the Emperor's Cup and the Japanese Super Cup with the team.
