Kylian Mbappe states he told PSG he would not renew his contract

Mbappe will not renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

Kylian Mbappe extended his contract with

Paris Saint-Germain

until 2024 last year. However, he has announced to Paris Saint-Germain that he does not intend to sign a new contract with the team.

Mbappe has said in a statement released on the AP:

“PSG’s administrative council has been informed since 15th July 2022 of my decision not to extend beyond 2024 and the letter that was sent only served to confirm what I had already told them.”

PSG intends to sell Mbappe this summer to prevent him from leaving the team for free, and it seems they want €150 million for him.

Real Madrid are linked with Mbappe, and it seems they intend to replace him with Karim Benzema after his departure.
