Mendilibar: " We will try to beat Roma"
Sevilla are preparing for the match against Roma in the Europa League final.
Sevilla will play against AS Roma in the Europa League final. They have reached the final of this competition 6 times and have been successful in winning all of them.
Sevilla have reached the final of the Europa League after winning over Manchester United and Juventus, but Mendilibar, the coach of Sevilla, believes that Roma is a different team.
“Roma have nothing to do with United and Juve. They are all strong, but Roma are different. We will try to beat this opponent. Without losing possession of the ball we might have chances to win the game.”
He said in the press conference.
Sevilla are fighting for their seventh Europa League title; they were previously crowned winners in the 2019/20 season.
The final will take place in Budapest.
