Manchester United 3-0 Leicester City: United continues to dominate!

Scoring eight goals in their last two Premier League fixtures, Leicester City jumped out of the relegation zone into 13th place as they traveled to Old Trafford for their 23rd Premier League game week.

With only one defeat in their last 10 matches, Manchester United hosted Leicester on Sunday in hope of continuing their great form. A victory over their Sunday opponents could move United within three points of their local rivals, Manchester City, who settled on a draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The Red Devils dictated the game from early on as they had most of the possession. Despite that, Iheanacho had two great chances within the first 20 minutes of the game. However, it was Marcus Rashford who scored the opener for the host as he ran from the offside trap with a delightful pass from Bruno Fernandes as he put the ball past Ward into the bottom-left corner.

Dalot had the chance to double United’s lead while Leicester failed to convert the chances they made in the other half, making the first half a 1-0 victory for Man United.

Leicester failed to find a way to overcome the result as Rashford doubled United's lead in the 56th minute. Early second-half substitute Jadon Sancho made it 3-0 for United in the 61st-minute after a cheeky one-two play with Fernandes.

Neither of the sides could add another goal as they settled on a 3-0 victory for Man United. Leicester falls to 14th place with the loss while Manchester United creeps closer to the top of the league.
