Shakira roasts ex Gerard Pique in new song: I was out of your league
Shakira has taken a swipe at her former partner Gerard Pique and his new girlfriend in a new viral song.

Gerard Piqueand his new girlfriend in her latest song.
The former
Barcelonastar Gerard Pique had a 12-year relationship with Shakira which came to an end in June 2022 when they confirmed their separation. They have two sons Milan and Sasha together.
In the lyrics, translated from Spanish, Shakira reportedly goes on to sing:
“This is for me to mortify you, chew and swallow so it doesn't sting, I won't return to you anymore even if you cry or beg me.
'I understood that it's not my fault that they criticize you, I only make music, sorry that I splashed you.”
In another part of the song, Shakira takes an aim at Pique and sings:
“You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo, You traded a Rolex for a Casio. A wolf like me is not for beginners, A wolf like me is not for guys like you.”
Video footage recently has emerged which is said to show Pique’s new girlfriend in his home before his split from Shakira.
Clara Chia Marti appears to be in the background of a zoom interview the footballer did from his family home in Barcelona, while Shakira was reportedly abroad with their two children.
The Spanish press claims that video was recorded ten months before Pique announced she had split from her 12-year partner.
