restarts competitive football on Thursday against Manchester City in an EFL Cup game. With Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota injured, many believe Liverpool needs reinforcement in January.

Along with their long-term target, Jude Bellingham, Liverpool has also been heavily linked with a move for Sofyan Amrabat and Enzo Fernandez. Liverpool returns to Premier League action on Boxing Day where they will face Aston Villa away.
