finally gave his verdict on the case. Aguero was formerly the son-in-law of Diego Maradona while he holds a strong friendship with Messi.

Speaking to

, Aguero said:

"I never liked those comparisons. And it's not about who is more of a symbol. Each one occupies a very important place in the hearts of Argentines.

“I like more to think about how lucky we Argentines are to have Diego and Leo, each in his time, the best players in history."

Messi is set to appear in his fifth and final World Cup as the tournament is set to begin a couple of days from now.
