Man United to take legal advice before addressing Ronaldo properly

Following Cristiano Ronaldo’s highly volatile interview, in which he accused ten Hag and senior figures at the club not respecting him, Manchester United will reportedly take legal advice before giving any response to the situation

In an interview with TalkTV, Cristiano Ronaldo made some shocking claims, accusing the senior figures at Manchester United of trying to oust him from the club as well as saying that he has “no respect” for manager Erik ten Hag.

The Portuguese superstar claimed that he felt “betrayed" by the club as they tried to get rid of him and admits that he thinks there have been “zero progress” at

Manchester United

since Sir Alex Ferguson left a decade ago.

The interview had a lot of backlash from United fans but now the club has come out and issued an statement in regards to

Ronaldo

’s interview: "

Manchester United notes the media coverage regarding an interview by Cristiano Ronaldo.

"The club will consider its response after the full facts have been established.

"Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff, and fans."

Ronaldo not only criticized some of the coaching staff like ten Hag or Rangnick, who he thinks is not even a coach, he also highlighted the club’s facilities and how they had stayed the same since he left the club back in 2009.

"I thought I would see different things, technology, infrastructure. Unfortunately, we see many things I'm used to seeing when I'm 21, 22, 23. It surprised me a lot."

Ronaldo said of the club’s infrastructure.

Manchester United’s statement means that the club will now be looking to take some serious and possibly legal actions toward the player. It has been long rumored that Ronaldo wanted to leave the club in January but no team in Europe seems close to signing the player, either not wanting him or not being able to afford his wages.
