"A power cut" temporarily suspends Leeds United and Arsenal clash

In the second minute of the game, officials lost all communication with VAR and the goalline technology as after a long delay, the referee Chris Kavanagh sent both teams to dressing rooms until the problem was resolved.

Arsenal's

Sunday trip to visit

Leeds United

at Elland Road was brought to a halt as "a power cut" caused serious issues with the referee's communications systems. However, after the problem was resolved, the referee ordered the re-continue of the game.

Leeds United confirmed the issues in a tweet:

"The game is temporarily suspended, after a power cut causes issues with the referee's communications systems

."

Mikel Arteta

does not have the services of Gabriel Jesus as he is dealing with an injury. He believes his side will have to deal with more problems since fixtures are piling up. The Arsenal player will most likely miss the Gunners’ clash against Leeds on Sunday and the club manager is worried about his side’s busy fixture after the World Cup.

After the game against Leeds, the Gunners will lock horns with PSV as their game was postponed due to

Queen Elizabeth II’s death

last month. This will be the third of five Thursdays in a row that Arsenal have to play Europa League games, with each of the matches being followed by a clash in the league two days later.
