Danjuma to stay at Villarreal amid rumors of a move

Arnaut Danjuma will remain at Villarreal in the summer, as per reports from Marca.

, who is eager to earn minutes for the Netherlands.

The 25-year-old pulled off an impressive 2021-22 season on an individual level as he met the back of the net 16 times and contributed four assists in 34 matches. His deal with the club will keep him until 2026.

Villarreal

ended the

La Liga

season sitting seventh on the table, only getting qualified for the Europa Conference League. Danjuma made a move to the club last summer from Bournemouth. Prior to that, he featured for PSV, NEC and Club Brugge. Moreover, he is eager to play a prominent role for the club in the next campaign.
