Mendes is in negotiation with Sevilla and Roma about free-agent Isco

Spanish midfielder Isco left Real Madrid after the club decided to release the player as a free agent at the end of June. Enjoying an extended summer break, the 30-year-old is now charging his agent with the task of finding him a new club for the 2022-23 campaign.

The 30-year-old

Isco

who joined Real Madrid from Malaga in 2013 just played in 14 matches for his team last season and now has been released after his contract came to end.

According to

Goal

, the Spain international playmaker has attracted the interest of several clubs across Europe. Jorge Mendes, the representative of Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, has drawn up a list of criteria that he would like an ideal next employer to meet since he was put in the task in May. The former Real Madrid star is ready to lower his salary demands to bring more interested parties to the table as he prefers to remain in Spain.

Sevilla earlier emerged as a perfect destination for Isco with former Spain and

Real Madrid

boss Julen Lopetegui a big fan of his undoubted ability. However, with plenty of seasoned campaigners such as Papu Gomez and Ivan Rakitic in the squad, the Andalusians face the question of whether another 30-year-old is the right addition to their squad as obvious financial issues are to be taken into account, even with Isco’s reduced demands taken into account.

It's been reported Jose Mourinho is also keen on a reunion with the midfielder at

Roma

but the player favors a move to Sevilla.
