loanee

Andreas Pereira

, who has little chance of returning to Old Trafford, has expressed hope that he can continue his presence at

Flamengo

.

The 26-year-old midfielder has been on loan to Flamengo since August 2021, playing 52 games for the team during this period and reaching the Copa Libertadores final. His loan move is coming to an end and he will have to return to England, and despite being considered by Fulham and Crystal Palace, he hopes that Manchester United will agree to keep him at Flamengo.

He said:

“I'll see what's best for me and the club. I love Flamengo. We will soon speak and decide.”

He added: “The relationship between myself and Flamengo has always been very good. This year was incredible for me.

“If it doesn't work out, I'll always leave with my head held high.

“I love the club, I love Flamengo, I'm Flamengo. If I leave, I will come back in the future.”

With only 12 months left on Pereira's contract with Manchester United, the Red Devils will be selling him in the summer. The Red Devils are said to be demanding $ 12 million for his sale.
