Xavi: Ansu Fati will be present for the match against Mallorca

One thing the Blaugrana can look forward to though is the likely return of Ansu Fati. The Spanish international has been out with a knee injury since January but could return for the final few games of the season.

Barcelona manager

was asked for an update in his news conference yesterday and provided this reaction to

. “If everything goes well, this week he will practice with the group and if everything goes well, he will be present for the next match against Mallorca.”

“He’s not just doing little pieces now, he is performing whole exercises and he is a differential player, something really beneficial for us.” Barcelona have been connected with a number of top-class forwards this summer but with financial restraints tight, a fully healthy Ansu Fati would alleviate their need to add another goalscorer.
