Ronaldo: Benzema deserves the Ballon d'Or
Brazilian legend Ronaldo believes Real Madrid's Karim Benzema deserves to win the 2022 Ballon d'Or award.

Benzema has been in red-hot form this season helping Real Madrid to be on the verge of winning La Liga and reaching semi final of the Champions League.
The French man have scored 37 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions and are in pole position to win the top scorer's award in both the Champions League and the La Liga.
"For the European Cup, Real Madrid are the favorites,”
Ronaldo told Sky Sport Italia.
"Then they have Ancelotti on the bench, who is one of the best in the world.
"Benzema? He deserves the Ballon d’Or, I’ve been saying it for years and they’ve criticised me, but he deserves it, he’s a great striker.”
Ronaldo who is currently the president at Valladolid, spoke about his role at this club.
"I still have important things to do, but throughout my career I have had great teachers like Moratti. He was like a father to me and he taught me a lot. And Florentino Perez, who reinvented football with the ‘Galacticos.”
