Klopp explains Diogo Jota’s situation

THE Reds’ boss has revealed new details about Jota and Firmino’s injuries.

Jurgen Klopp

has talked about

Diogo Jota’s

injury claiming that it is too soon to decide on his return date ahead of

Liverpool’s

Premier League clash against

Leeds

and the Carabao Cup final against

Chelsea

as they try to reduce the gap between them and Manchester City, who sit first on the Premier League table.

“Yes, it’s too early,”

Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com

.

“I don’t even know if it will be a late decision or not; how I said, it’s too early. I saw them both today, they both look great – but those two always look great.

“We have to see how the specific issues develop but we obviously will try everything.”

Jota was injured during the Reds’ Champions League clash against

Inter

, but he wasn’t the only injured player from the Premier League side’s trip to Italy as

Roberto Firmino

was complaining from a muscle problem too, which forced Klopp to choose

Sadio Mane

as his central forward and

Luis Diaz

in the left side alongside

Salah

who stood in the right side of the Reds’ front line against Norwich and all of them scored in that match.

Klopp has also talked about the Brazilian striker’s injury saying that he would be out for a while.
