La Liga giants eyeing move for Leicester’s Tielemans
The Belgium international has attracted interest from abroad, but the Foxes are reluctant to sell their star midfielder.
Since his £32 million transfer from Monaco in 2019,
Youri Tielemanshas established himself as a key player in Leicester City’s midfield. The 24-year-old’s impressive 2020-21 campaign was completed by his title-winning goal against Chelsea in the FA cup final. Despite interest from a host of Premier League clubs, Tielemans did not leave the Foxes in the summer transfer window. However, the Belgian might still leave the club before the expiration of his current deal as he is now linked with a move to La Liga for the next season.

are interested in making bids for the versatile midfielder. However, the two La Liga giants might have to battle Manchester United, who are still keen to sign the midfielder.
The former Anderlecht star has featured in 112 games for the Foxes, scoring 18 goals and providing 19 assists. Tielemans’ current deal at the King Power Stadium will expire in 2023. Leicester are feeling no pressure to sell their star midfielder before the summer of 2022, with the Foxes being expected to demand at least €60m for the player.
