Real Madrid has signed Rennes’ star Eduardo Camavinga with a €40m deal.

Rennes

’ French star

Eduardo Camavinga

has signed a six-year deal with

Real Madrid

that is worth €40 million (£34m/$47m), including add-ons. Los Blancos has confirmed the signing of the France international, and they hope that this new signing would help them forget about their disappointing failure in signing Paris Saint-Germain’s

Kylian Mbappe

, who has done everything to show his interest in moving to Santiago Bernabeu but failed to convince the Parisians to let him go, although he is in the last year of his contract at Paris and he will be a free agent next summer.

Although Camavinga is only 18 years old, he has attracted so much attention with his impressive performance at Rennes, and multiple European clubs have shown interest in signing him, but Carlo Ancelotti’s side won the battle for signing the Angola born young talent.

Camavinga’s contract at Santiago Bernabeu will commit him to the club until 2027, which shows that the club is hopeful about the player’s potential for improvements.

He has been the youngest player to be invited to the France national team since 1932, following Deschamps’ decision to give him a chance on the international level and giving him three caps already.
