Jerome Boateng may be on his way to Sevilla

Bayern Munich’s Jerome Boateng may join Sevilla to replace Jules Kounde.

Bayern Munich

has left three players out this summer, and

Alaba

and

Javi Martinez

have already left the club as Alaba joined Real Madrid, and Martinez moved to Qatar SC, but

Jerome Boateng

has been waiting for the right time to decide about his future after his long spell at Bayern Munich.

Boateng’s contract with Bayern Munich expired in June, and the reports in Germany suggest that the experienced center-back may continue his career at a La Liga club and SportBild claims that he has been holding talks with

Sevilla

about his possible transfer, and the La Liga side will have to make some reductions in their wage bill to make room for Boateng’s arrival.

It seems like a rational transfer as the reports in England suggest that Chelsea is negotiating with Sevilla’s young defender Jules Kounde, and if the French defender leaves the club, they will face a hard time replacing him and bringing an experienced defender like Boateng could be a big help to fill the void in their defensive line.

Boateng had been linked with Tottenham Spurs before Mourinho’s departure, but the Head Coach’s transfer to Roma made the transfer impossible, and a move to Sevilla should be a desirable choice for him because they will be playing in the Champions League next season.
