Chiesa is good but he's expensive - Julian Nagelsmann

Julian Nagelsmann has moved quickly to silence rumours of a big-money bid by Bayern Munich for Chiesa.

The Bayern boss reveals he is a fan of the Italian international, but he is too expensive. Chiesa is on the verge of starting his second season on loan at Juventus; The forward appearing in 43 games for Bianconeri last season and scoring 14 goals. Fiorentina have asked for at least 60 million euros to sell him, a number that would take him out of the reach of Bayern Munich.

"

Yes, he's good but he's expensive, too,”

Nagelsmann told Bild. “

He's a top player, with incredible drive. I known him for a long time and I find him exceptional because he often goes for a one-on-one, he tries to shoot very fast

."

Nagelsman also revealed that he intends to use Serge Gnabry in another position at some point this season.

"It's always about thinking: How do our opponents play? So it can be an option, but certainly not the solution for 34 game days," added Nagelsmann, who joined Bayern from RB Leipzig earlier this summer. “He is not a top-notch solution for this position. Serge's position is more central in front, on ten, in half space or on the wing, that's where he plays his best.”
