Arsenal keeping tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt forward

The Gunners are reportedly interested in a summer move for Andre Silva.

Following his impressive performances for

Eintracht Frankfurt

last season,

Andre Silva

has attracted attention from a host of top European clubs. According to

Metro

,

Arsenal

are interested in signing the 25-year-old in the summer. The Gunners are keen to add the Portuguese to their squad as a replacement for Alexandre Lacazette, who has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal have reportedly started to work on the transfer, but the deal is expected to be completed once Arsenal provide sufficient funds through selling players.

Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly demanding a €40m fee for Silva, but they are expected to lower the price due to their financial issues.

RB Leipzig

are also interested in signing the player, but he prefers a move to the Premier League.

Silva was loaned out to Eintracht Frankfurt by AC Milan in 2019. The Portuguese forward quickly established himself as a key player for the Eagles and signed a permanent contract with the German club in September 2020. The former Rossoneri forward scored 28 goals in his 32 league appearances for Eintracht last season as they finished fifth in the Bundesliga.
