Arsenal show interest in Barcelona ace Philippe Coutinho
Barcelona midfielder, Philippe Coutinho could leave the team this summer and return to the Premier League team, Arsenal.
The 28-year-old has tried to make his way back into Barca this season after his return from Bayern Munich loan spell in 2019/20.
Based on the
Daily Expressreports, Mikel Arteta‘s team could reignite their interest in the ex-Liverpool player, after failing to strike a deal with him in 2020.
The report also mentioned that making a move for
Coutinho
depends on Arteta’s ability to keep on-loan midfielder, Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid.
The 22-year-old has impressed the Gunners since moving in on a six-month loan contract in January. Odegaard is representing a much cheaper choice for
Arsenal.
Real Madrid have valued Odegaard at around €30m and Coutinho at around €50m, despite Barcelona’s enthusiasm to sell.
