Messi's future is uncertain until summer
Barcelona news is currently surrounded by the future of their superstar, Lionel Messi as his deal at Le Blaugrana ends in the next three months.
The Argentine-born striker will be out of his contract on 30 June and apparently, he has been given the option to speak to other teams from January because of the expiration date.
Last summer, he attempted to leave the team as a free agent but he changed his mind because he had to go to court to force the action, but he chose to stay for this campaign.
According to a report in
ESPN, the 33-year-old still has time to make his decision on his future and he's keeping the decision until summer.
That report claims that
Messi
has yet to receive any formal offers from any other team– as Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City are waiting to make an approach.
Messi has netted 12 goals in his last 10 matches and 21 strikes over his last 21 outings in total.
