Europa League quarter-final draw revealed
Manchester United will be facing Granada for the next round of the European race as Arsenal set to face Slavia Prague.
Following their 2-1 win over
AC Milan,
Manchester Unitedare set to face
La Liga’s
Granadain the quarter-final of the Europa League competition while
Premier Leaguerivals,
Arsenal, will face
Slavia Prague.
As for the other qualifiers,
Ajaxwill be facing with the
Serie Aside,
Roma, and
Dinamo Zagrebwill have to compete against
Villarreal.
Regarding the semi-final of the Europa League race, the winner of the Man-Utd vs. Granada's match will either clash with Ajax or Roma and as for Arsenal’s encounter with Slavia Prague, the qualifiers to the next round could be facing either Villarreal or Zagreb.
The first-leg of the quarter-final will be played on April 8th and the second-leg games will follow the next week on April 15th.
The semi-final games will be played on April 29th and May 6th respectively and the final will be held at Gdansk Arena in Poland on May 26th.
Among the contenders for the Europa League title, Manchester United are the favourites to win the race considering their solid front-line.
On the other hand, Arsenal should be aware of their chances against Slavia, who defeated both
Rangersand
Leicester Cityin the previous rounds.
If the Gunners succeed in qualifying to the next round they could be facing their former manager, Unai Emery, who is currently in charge of Villarreal.
