Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman confident before the match against PSG

Ronald Koeman is sure that his team can beat PSG in the Champions League next week.

Barca had an amazing preparation for their meeting with the Ligue 1 champions at the Camp Nou on February 16.

The team secured an outstanding 5-1 La Liga triumph against Alaves this weekend.

The Dutchman is certain his team will be confident and ready for their meeting with the French side.

“The team is doing well. We are confident we can win the tie, knowing that we will play against a strong block”,

he announced.

“They have casualties, but so do we. The tie is even and we will have to play well to progress.

“But we are in a good moment and we have a good winning streak. We are confident we can win.”

Koeman

decided to take players out in the final-half against Alaves, getting them to relax before their return to European action.

Sergio Busquets, Frenkie De Jong, and Oscar Mingueza were substituted but they seem Ok to play against PSG.

De Jong will probably stay in defense, due to Barcelona’s injury issues in central defense, with Jordi Alba told to play at left-back.

Pedri and Ousmane Dembele will apparently be in the match after coming off the bench at the Camp Nou.
