Ferdinand believes Solskjaer has no plans for January transfer season

The Red Devils legend believes the team will not be welcoming any new players in January considering their excelling performance.

Former

Manchester United

defender,

Rio Ferdinand

, insists that the Red Devils are done with the current transfer season considering that they have already spent £37 million ($48m) to sign

Amad Diallo

.

Though there have been rumors of Man-Utd’s intention to enhance their defense and front-line with the likes of

Jadon Sancho

and

Sergio Ramos

, Ferdinand believes it is very unlikely that any new players will join the team in January.

Ferdinand told

Stretford Paddock

about

Solskjaer

’s plans, saying:

“I don't think he'll bring anyone in.”

“He is hoping that Diallo from Atalanta will come in and set the world alight in training - so he gives him some food for thought.”

“Listen, it is alright saying we want someone but who is selling in this market right now? I don't see many teams who are willing to sell players right now unless you're going to break the bank and pay monstrous fees. I don't think Man United want to be doing that right now.”

The Reds Devils currently sit at the top of the

Premier League

table with 37 points at hand.
