Manchester Untied's Marcos Rojo linked to join Boca Juniors

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo is rumored to get back to Argentina

According to reports from El Intransigente, this time it's

Boca Juniors

who are keen on marking the 30-year-old. 

Genoese have recently secured their advancement to the Copa Libertadores' semi-finals, and president

Juan Roman Riquelme

needs to have a national team player in their team. 

As per previous reports from El Intrasigente, the Red Devils would request US$5m to release Marcos Rojo and Boca Juniors is willing to pay the price.

It's said that Boca Juniors wanted Rojo at the beginning of 2020 when was on a loan run at Estudiantes de La Plata. However, at that stage, the player would not like to move to an opponent club. 

Rojo went through a half year in Argentina in 2020, and played in only one match for Estudiantes, as he was halted by injuries and the COVID-19 widespread. 

Since getting back to Man Utd in the mid-year, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer never sent him into the pitch again.
