Spanish Supercopa’s stadiums have been revealed

As Saudi Arabia has pulled out from holding the Spanish Supercup mini-tournament, the Spanish FA has confirmed the venues that are going to held the upcoming matches.

The Spanish FA has confirmed cities of

Córdoba

,

Málaga

, and

Seville

will play host to this year’s matches, as in Thursday’s draw it’s been decided that

Real Sociedad

will play against

Barcelona

on January 13 and

Athletic Club Bilbao

will face

Real Madrid

on January 14.

The final match is scheduled to take place on 17 January at Seville’s

La Cartuja stadium

.

Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao are participating in the tournament as

Copa del Ray finalists

, while the Blaugrana and Los Blancos are in the tournament courtesy of finishing in La Liga’s top two.

Last year, the competition was controversially held in

Saudi Arabia

, where

Real Madrid

beat

Atletico Madrid

in the final.
