Neto is thrilled about Countinho’s form and backs Griezmann

Barcelona goalkeeper has spoken about his teammates Philippe Coutinho and Antoine Griezmann but preferred to stay silent about reported salary dispute with the club.

and managed to participate in German side’s treble winning run. Bayern however preferred not to make the deal permanent and Coutinho returned to Camp Nou at the start of the 2020-21 season. After playing four LaLiga games under Ronald Koeman, Coutinho has now has two assists and one goal in the new season and seems to be on his way to find his best form again under the Dutch coach. ’s injury has spoken about the Brazilian play maker and also Griezmann’s situation at the club.

"I am happy to have a friend like Coutinho back in the squad, with his quality,

"He has shown his quality and that he is excited to return to the club. The Champions League title that he has won at Bayern will give him a lot of security and will give us a lot."

Asked about

Griezmann

, the 31-year-old goalkeeper responded:

"I see Griezmann very well, as always, we know what this profession is like, sometimes things turn out better and others worse,

"But I see him happy and working in training and I'm sure he will continue to provide us with many things as before."

The Player was then asked about his reported dispute with Barca officials over his salary but preferred to not share his opinions on that subject.

"On the salary issue, I think it would be incoherent to answer now,

"The whole squad and I are focused on the game and with being a personal and individual issue, each one has their opinion.

"The important thing now is the game and we are focused on getting a positive result."
