Cristian Romero still watches Argentina's victory over France in the 2022 world cup, as taking part in Albicelecte's championship makes him so happy.

Romero said on Argentine’s triumph in Qatar.
He then revealed his decision of quitting football about five years ago and talked about the difficulty of national football:
"At the beginning, it was tough because I was tired mentally. The World Cup required a lot of mental focus like I never experienced before."
