Matches of the 24th round in the Egyptian League

The match witnessed a single goal that came from friendly fire when Al Ahly Bank defender, Mahmoud El Gazzar, scored an own goal in the 48th minute, giving Ceramica Cleopatra the three points.

With this victory, Ceramica Cleopatra’s balance rose to 34 points under the leadership of its competent coach Ayman Al Ramadi, which made it occupy the fifth position in the standings and enhances its chances in the competition for advanced positions.

In contrast, Al Ahly Bank’s balance froze at 22 points to remain in the fourteenth place, which increases the pressure on its coach Tarek Mustafa to achieve better results in the upcoming matches.

In another match held within the same round, the confrontation between El Gouna and its guest Tala’ea El Gaish ended in a goalless draw at Khaled Bichara Stadium in the Red Sea Governorate.

Neither team was able to shake the net throughout the match, settling for one point each. Thus, El Gouna raised its balance to 30 points to occupy the eleventh position under the supervision of its technical director Alaa Abdel Aal, who hopes to improve the team’s position in the coming rounds.

As for Tala’ea El Gaish team, its balance also rose to 30 points, to occupy the tenth position under the leadership of its technical director Abdel Hamid Bassiouny, who in turn seeks to enhance the team’s position in the middle of the standings.
