Arsenal not willing to loan Saliba away

As per reports from Fabrizio Romano, the Gunner’s Frenchman will not go to the London club on a loan deal in the 2022-23 season following two years of loan with Nice and Marseille in Ligue 1.

Following a successful time with OM this season for

William Saliba

, which helped him win the UNFP’s young player of the season award, a loan for the 21-year-old had been named as a possibility as he is keen on making the France squad for the World Cup in Qatar.

Marseille

are eager to keep the player for one more year.

However,

Mikel Arteta

is now interested in putting the defender in his first team with Fabrizio Romano saying that the Gunners now ‘trust’ the player while saying that the Premier League club are eager to talk about a new deal with the centre-back.

Arsenal

’s plan would only change their decision regarding his future if there is a ‘crazy’ offer on the table. This, therefore, ends Marseille’s hope of re-signing the player, even if they are willing to offer  €30m.
