Milan to award Tomori a new deal

Milan and Fikayo Tomori are negotiating over a contract extension, as per reports from Fabrizio Romano.

Milan

and

Fikayo Tomori

like to continue working together and signing a new deal is only a matter of time, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Tomori has been impressive since making a move to Milan on a loan deal from

Chelsea

in the 2020-21 season. Then his move was made permanent following a great season with the Rossoneri, with his deal being around £25million.

Milan are satisfied with the money they spend as the player has proved to be a talisman.

He has pulled off great performances last season helping his side win the

Serie A

title when he replaced Alessio Romagnoli at Milan’s defence.

Tomori is now keen on making his way to the England squad for the World Cup in Qatar. His great display with Milan has put Gareth Southgate under pressure to give him a call-up.

Although they have yet to decided his selection, he seems to be on the right track.

Tomori is also able to say that he settled at San Siro better than most foreigners and he will be rewarded a new deal.
