Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne to sign for Toronto FC
Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne has reportedly reached an agreement over a free transfer to MLS side Toronto FC.
's current contract will end in June 2022.

According to
SportMediaset, the 30-year-old
Napoliand Italy national team striker has agreed personal terms with the MLS club.
Insigne is expected to earn €9.5 million per year for the next five seasons which is almost two times more than his current wage at the Serie A side.
In a recent interview with
Corriere dello Sport, Insigne's agent
Vincenzo Pisacane
stated that if he were to leave Napoli, he should relocate abroad.
The financial aspect has certainly influenced Insigne's decision. According to the report, the Italian has no doubts about joining Toronto and might possibly sign his deal in January.
