Giroud took part in Milan's medical

The French star will transfer to Milan for two seasons.

Olivier Giroud is undergoing medical tests in

Milan

to sign a two-year contract with the team.

The French striker went to the La Madonnina clinic on Friday morning to take his first steps away from

Chelsea

and join Milan. Milan pay €1 million to sign Giroud , and depending on the number of games and his performance, the Rossoneri may have to pay another € 1 million to Chelsea.

The 34-year-old striker signed a one-year extension with Chelsea last summer, which Chelsea could extend for another year. Arsenal sold Giroud to Chelsea in January 2018 for £18 million and he scored 39 goals in 119 games at Stamford Bridge and won three trophies.

Milan have already signed Ficayo Tomori from Chelsea. Having joined Milan on loan, he was permanently joined the Rossoneri with the activation of his € 30 million buy-out clause. Milan finished runners-up in Serie A last season and returned to the Champions League after a seven-year absence.
