Norwich sign Werder Bremen striker Milot Rashica to replace Buendia

Norwich have confirmed the signing of Werder Bremen attacker Milot Rashica on a four-year deal for a reported fee of £9.4m.

The 24-year-old has signed a four-year deal after completing a medical test and says he is really excited to have signed for the newly-promoted Premier League side.

He shined during the 2019/20 season but endured a difficult final 15 months for the relegated Bundesliga side. He joins

Norwich

as a replacement for

Emi Buendia

, who joined

Aston Villa

earlier this month.

He is the Canaries' third summer signing after Burnley defender

Ben Gibson

and Greek left-back

Dimitrios Giannoulis

from PAOK Salonika.

The winger spent three years at Bundesliga outfit where he scored 27 goals and provided 19 assists in 100 appearances across all competitions.

"I will of course give my best to this football club in every game and hope to excite the fans with many goals and assists. I can't wait to get started,"

he said

.

"I know a few things about the club, particularly the style of play under Daniel Farke. I want to continue to learn and develop as a player and person and I think that the style of play here will suit me very well."

The Kosovo international's experience and versatility could be a huge asset for Norwich as they are looking to reinforce their attacking line for the new season.
