Man Utd, Liverpool & Arsenal in race for Brighton's Ben White

As per reports, three Premier League teams are interested in signing Brighton defender Ben White.

Last season, the center-back had a fantastic debut season at the Amex Stadium after impressing during a loan spell at Leeds in 2019/20.

Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal, according to the

Daily Mail

, are all keeping a close eye on White.

However, according to the sources, Brighton has set a £50 million market value on the 23-year-old, who progressed through the club's youth foundation.

The Seagulls are hoping that this will be enough to put off potential suitors for White, but a great showing at the European Championship might make him even more desirable to United, Liverpool, and Arsenal.

"We know some of our best players aren't going to be with us for ever and, if the right offer comes along and they want to leave, then they can go," Brighton chief executive Paul Barber said recently.

On the other hand, Albion is under no financial pressure to sell one of their greatest assets, given White's contract has three years left on it.

Graham Potter's team benefits from his flexibility, as he can play in a back four, a back three, or as a holding midfielder.

White started 36

Premier League

games for Brighton last season, missing only 225 minutes of the league's play.

He might start for the Three Lions against Croatia on Sunday, as Southgate appears to be leaning toward a three-man backline.

White will be entirely focused on his nation at the moment, but United, Arsenal, and Liverpool will extensively scrutinize his achievements for

Euro 2020

Although the Reds have already decided to acquire Ibrahima Konate, all three sides are looking to improve their defensive options this summer.
