Sheffield United recalled Norrington-Davies from Luton

Out of nowhere, Chris Wilder decided to cut short the young full-back's journey at Luton.

Rhys Norrington-Davies

has been recalled from Luton. The

Sheffield United

player was sent on loan to Luton to improve and gain experience and he had a successful season so far this there. He made 22 appearances and was just getting better. The decision by

Chris Wilder

was out of nowhere.

The 21 years old Welshman showed great defensive skills but also impressive going forward. Wilder previously promised Luton that Norrington-Davies will finish his season-long loan deal but apparently, he has changed his mind. Sheffield United are currently bottom of the Premier League table as they already need 13 points to move out of the relegation zone.

The young full-back might have been recalled because Chris Wilder considers him in his short-term plans in project survival. However, reports suggest that the player might be wanted by Championship side, Stoke City for a short-term loan deal.
