Tottenham appoint Ange Postecoglou as new head coach

Tottenham have unveiled their new coach.

Tottenham

have appointed Ange Postecoglou as their new head coach, who was formerly in charge of Celtic. Having won three domestic titles with Celtic this season, Postecoglou will take over from Antonio Conte at Tottenham.

The 57-year-old Australian coach will officially become the head coach of Tottenham from July 1st.

Daniel Levy, the chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, spoke to the club's website:

 “Ange brings a positive mentality and a fast, attacking style of play.

“He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link from the academy – everything that is important to our club.

“We are excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead.”

Tottenham, which finished eighth in the Premier League, will not compete in European competitions next season.
