Manchester Unitedfollowing a fallout with manager Erik ten Hag, England international Jadon Sancho returned to his former club Borussia Dortmund on loan for the latter part of the season. United is now looking to sell the 24-year-old winger, reportedly seeking £50 million ($64m). According to Gazzetta dello Sport, if Juventus signs Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi for around £25 million ($32m), it could pave the way for the German team to secure Sancho's return.
Sancho's move to United from Dortmund in 2021 did not meet expectations. He managed to score only 12 goals and provide six assists in 82 appearances, a stark contrast to his prolific form in the Bundesliga. His ongoing feud with Ten Hag further underscored the disappointment of his tenure at Old Trafford. Sancho's performance at United was notably inferior compared to his time at Dortmund. In the 2019-20 Bundesliga season, for example, he scored 17 goals and made 17 assists in just 32 games, highlighting his potential when in the right environment.
