Marcus Rashford equals Salah's record with Premier League Player of the Month award

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has been named the Premier League player of the month for February.

has won the Premier League Player of the Month award for February.

This is for the third time this season that Rashford has won the Player of the Month award and now he equals Mohamed Salah's record for the most awards in a season.

Rashford won this award in January and September. Liverpool star Salah also won this award three times in the 2017-18 season.

Rashford scored five goals in four league matches for Man United. The English star has scored 14 goals in the Premier League this season.

The 25-year-old Rashford has won the Premier League Player of the Month award four times in his career. Sergio Agüero and Harry Kane have been Player of the Month the most with seven awards each.

Erik ten Hag

has also been awarded the Premier League Manager of the Month prize for February. Erik ten Hag's side took 10 points from a possible 12. They beat Crystal Palace, Leicester, and Leeds and also were held against Leeds at home. The Dutchman also won this award in September.

Man United is in third place in the table, 14 points behind leaders Arsenal with one game in hand. Ten Hag’s side will face Southampton at Old Trafford on Sunday.
