Scamacca penned a deal with West Ham United

The Italy international has finished his move from Sassuolo to West Ham United and is going to wear the No.7 shirt; however, they have yet to make a statement.

The Italy international went from Roma to London last night on a private jet to undergo his medical on Tuesday before penning a five-year contract that includes an option to extend for another year.

The 23-year-old has been capped seven times for Italy. He started his career in the

Lazio

and

Roma

youth academies before joining PSV Eindhoven when he was 16 in 2015.

The striker went back to Italy for Sassuolo in 2017, played for Cremonese, PEC Zwolle, Ascoli and Genoa on loan before he had his breakout season with the Neroverdi that saw him meet the back of the net 16 times in Serie A.

Paris Saint-Germain were negotiating with Scamacca, but

West Ham

are where he landed.
