Manchester United women will have a new stadium

The Red Devils are interested in building a new stadium for their women.

Manchester United

is considering the possibility of building a stadium for the club’s women squad, and this could be a part of their plans of redeveloping the club’s facilities as they are already thinking about improving

Old Trafford

and

Carrington

training ground and turning them into a big training complex for the men, women and academy sides in the coming years.

There aren’t many details about the Red Devils’ plans for the improvements, but the reports suggest that the club may be thinking about building a completely new stadium that their women’s team and their academy can use together.

The Red Devils’ women squad and their Under-23 sides are playing at Leigh Sports Village, which has a capacity of 12000 fans and is located on the outskirts of Manchester and the rest of the academy squads have Carrington as their home ground.

In the beginning, the club intended to build a new venue just like Old Trafford, but they may change their mind as it may seem out of the picture for the Red Devils.

Manchester United has been a strong team in

WSL

in the past years, which can be the main reason behind the club’s decision of providing them with more facilities.
